- Records in popular Windows Media Audio (WMA) format
- 64MB of internal flash memory
- USB mass storage class support means the WS-100 can store any file type, in addition to audio
- Play recordings in Fast and Slow Playback mode (50 faster or 25 slower than real time)
- Choose between three recording modes -- HQ for high quality and LP and SP for extended recording times
- Store and organize files in five folders holding up to 199 files per folder
- Voice activation records sound as soon as it's picked up by the built-in microphone
- Insert index marks to identify and quick retrieve important sound bites
- Erase single or entire files
- Adjustable microphone sensitivity
- Up to 13 hours of continuous operation with one AAA battery
