The limited production Sony QUALIA 16 strikes the perfect balance between sophisticated technology and ergonomic design. The camera weighs less than two ounces, measures less than three inches in length and employs an extraordinarily compact, high-quality AF lens system. It has been designed so that it can be with you unnoticed and, when the spirit moves you, instantly accessible.The camera produces images of truly remarkable color, precision and depth for a camera of such small size. This is the result of a revolutionary fusion of advanced technologies, designed to work together in an unprecedented manner. To achieve the clearest image, four consecutive images are captured in one shot and combined via digital imaging control technology to reduce noise and create the best image. Brightness is automatically adjusted when conditions are too dark.
It is made of forged aluminum for strength and a special paint of blue glass flakes under a resin coating to provide both feel and durability. The lens features virtually scratch-proof sapphire glass. Included is a handsome carrying case which has forged-zinc detailing. Included are a flash unit, timer remote control unit, video output unit, wide angle lens, telephoto lens, viewer, memory, lithium battery and battery charger. Among other things, the camera has a built-in .55 LCD display, 4x digital zoom, image stabilization, scene settings, white balance adjustment, and exposure adjustment.
This camera was conceived of as a device that could capture not just images, but rather impressions, observations, points of view, feelings. It puts at the operators disposal a wide range of sophisticated tools, while remaining perfectly transparent to the process.
